Max Appliance Repair London

Booking and Availability

How to request service, what to send us and when appointments are available.

How do I book appliance repair in London, Ontario?

Call (226) 840-6671 or use the online repair request form. Tell us the appliance type, brand, symptoms and your town or postal code. We will review the details and confirm the next suitable appointment.

Do you offer same-day appliance repair?

Same-day appointments are often available, but they are not guaranteed. Availability depends on your location, the day’s route, technician capacity and whether a required part is available. Call early and we will confirm the earliest suitable opening.

What are your hours?

We answer repair requests seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM. Appointment timing is confirmed when you book.

Which areas do you serve?

We provide in-home appliance repair across London, St. Thomas, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Strathroy, Dorchester and the nearby communities. Share your postal code when booking so we can confirm route availability.

What information should I send when booking?

Send the appliance type, brand, full model number if available, symptoms or error code, your postal code and any access details. A clear photo of the model label helps us identify the unit.

Pricing and Repair Approval

How diagnosis, estimates and repair decisions work before you approve a job.

Do you charge a service call or diagnostic fee?

A service call fee applies to the technician’s visit and diagnosis. The service call fee is waived when the repair is completed. We confirm the applicable fee when the appointment is booked. Service call fees and deposits are not refundable, as set out in our refund policy.

Will I receive an estimate before the repair?

Yes. After diagnosing the appliance, the technician explains the fault and provides an estimate before approved repair work begins. You decide whether to proceed.

How much does appliance repair cost in London, Ontario?

Repair cost depends on the appliance, the fault, the labour required and replacement parts. We do not quote a final repair price without a diagnosis. For typical ranges by appliance, see our London appliance repair cost guide.

Should I repair or replace my appliance?

The right choice depends on the appliance’s age and condition, the failed component, parts availability, repair cost and replacement cost. After diagnosis, the technician can explain the practical options without obligating you to repair. Our repair or replace guide walks through the math.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and credit cards. Payment is due when the invoice is issued. Ask when booking if you need another payment method.

The Service Visit and Warranty

What to expect at the appointment, how to prepare and what happens afterward.

Does someone need to be home for the appointment?

Yes. An adult who can provide access to the appliance and approve the estimate should be available during the visit.

How should I prepare for the technician?

Clear a safe path to the appliance and remove fragile items from the immediate work area. Keep the appliance connected unless there is a safety concern, and do not dismantle it before the visit. Have the model number and any error code ready.

How long does a repair visit take?

Visit length depends on the appliance and the fault. Many repairs are completed during the diagnostic visit when the needed part is on the van. Other jobs require a return appointment after a part is ordered.

What warranty comes with a completed repair?

Completed repairs include a 3-month parts and labour warranty for the repaired issue, subject to the service terms provided with the job. The warranty covers only the parts that were replaced or repaired; other parts of the appliance are not included. Consequential damage and incidental expenses, including water damage and food spoilage, are not covered, and the warranty is not transferable. The full wording is in our refund policy.

What happens if a replacement part must be ordered?

We explain the required part, its price and the expected next step before ordering. Parts availability and delivery times vary by brand and model, and a return visit is arranged when the part is ready. Electronic parts ordered or installed through us cannot be returned or refunded.

Appliances, Brands and Safety

What we service, how model coverage is confirmed and when to stop using an appliance.

Which brands do you service?

We service many mainstream, premium and specialty household appliance brands. Coverage depends on the appliance type, model, age, technical information and parts availability. Check our brands we repair page or call with the full model number. Max Appliance Repair is an independent repair company and is not affiliated with or authorized by any appliance manufacturer.

My appliance is showing an error code. What should I do?

Write down or photograph the complete error code and note when it appears. Include it with your booking request. Avoid repeatedly resetting the appliance if the code returns, because the code can help with diagnosis.

When should I stop using an appliance?

Stop using the appliance if there is smoke, a burning smell, a suspected gas smell, sparking, severe overheating or an active water leak. Disconnect power or shut off the water only when it is safe to do so. Leave the area and contact emergency services or the gas utility for a suspected gas leak.
